How can I be a part of the mission trip to Divine Holistic Ministries in Njeru, Uganda, East Africa?

Pray:

  • Pray daily before, during and after the trip:
    • For the health and safety of the persons traveling
    • For the team’s witness for God to those hungry for the Gospel
    • For peace for the families of those traveling
    • For the Women of Hope Retreat – that it will have a profound impact and needs will be met spiritually, physically, and emotionally on those participating

Give Monetarily:

  • Money will be used to purchase items in Uganda (This will help the local economy.):
    • Chicken/chicks for protein and eggs, to raise, eat, and sell
    • Rabbits for protein to raise, eat, and sell
    • Rice, sugar, and other staples (that are easily purchased in town, but very expensive for the people to buy)
    • Sheets and Blankets
    • Vegetable seeds and plants
    • Funds for baggage cost to fly benevolent gifts

Non-Monetary Benevolent Gifts:

These items will be taken in the team’s baggage to fly with them. Please keep in mind the size, weight and fly “ability” of items donated.

Luggage or Military duffel bags: (Not to be returned)

  • Used, but sturdy enough to fly to Uganda. Will be used to bring the benevolent gifts to the children and adults that DHM helps. (Paying for luggage to fly is actually cheaper than sending them parcel.)
